The“Coarsening” of grinding equipment is an abnormal phenomenon, which indicates that the fineness of grinding equipment is obviously coarsened and difficult to control. Coarsening of grinding equipment will increase the energy consumption of grinding equipment, resulting in waste, particle size will also affect the subsequent separation. Therefore, coarsening of grinding equipment should be avoided in actual production.
The main reason for the coarsening of grinding equipment is that the capacity of the coarse grinding bin is too large and the capacity of the fine grinding bin is insufficient. The reasons why the grinding capacity of the coarse grinding silo is significantly higher than that of the fine grinding silo are as follows:
If the amount of incoming material is too much or increases rapidly in a short time, it should be ensured that the amount of incoming material is suitable for the crushing capacity of the silo and the sudden increase of the amount of incoming material should be prevented;
If the bearing capacity of the grinding body in the coarse grinding silo is too small, the diameter of the steel ball is too small, or the filling rate of the grinding body in the fine grinding silo is much lower than that in the coarse grinding silo, then the bearing capacity of the grinding body should be increased, the gradation of the grinding body should be adjusted, the proportion of the steel ball should be increased or the filling rate of the grinding body in the fine grinding bin should be increased appropriately, where the gap is too large, the steel bar can be welded;
if the abrasive is moved into the bin due to damage or drop of the diaphragm, the diaphragm should be replaced or installed, and the mixture of abrasives classified;
if the size of the grindstone is too large, the size of grindstones should be reduced. Increase the ball diameter of the ball silo or temporarily reduce the feed rate until the particle size problem is solved.
